The widget shows the wrong theme

Widgets refresh on Apple's schedule, usually within a few minutes. To force it, remove the widget and add it again, or open the app once.

The widget doesn't show up in the list

Open Motto once after installing, then try again. On the Lock Screen, Motto appears under the rectangular and inline widget slots.

Cancel or manage the subscription

iPhone Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, Motto. Cancelling before the trial ends means nothing is charged. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restore a purchase on a new phone

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Motto, go to Profile, the gear icon, then Restore purchases.

Reminders stopped

Check iPhone Settings, Notifications, Motto is allowed, and that Focus modes aren't silencing it. Reminder times live in Profile, Reminders.

A quote is misattributed

Long-press the quote, copy it, and email it to us. We check the source and fix or remove it.
